Sega's upcoming racing game which they hope will rival the Mario Kart series is set to have a bonus for Wii owners, oh the joy. Your Miis will be an exclusive playable character in the Wii version of Sonic and Sega's All-Star Racing and unlike Mario Kart Wii, they will have their own unique "All-Star Move" as will all characters in a similar fashion to Mario Kart Double Dash.
Xbox 360 owners will have a similar surprise with Nintendo traitors, Banjo Kazooie featuring as an exclusive playable character along with Xbox 360 Avatars. No exclusive characters for the PS3 have been announced but there is sure to be one. More characters and stages may be offered in the future as downloadable content (for the 360 and PS3 anyway) but that's only if the game is successful according to Sega.
The game features four different vehicles (racing, off-road, bike and hovercraft) and each performs differently depending on the stages surface, it'll be up to you to discover which works best on the various terrain available. As you race you'll be awarded with Sega Miles (Sega Kilometres for us metric system users?) which can be spent on new characters, courses, music and artwork. Finally there is an online mode which supports up to eight players from around the world.
A Mario guest appearance would have been nice considering all they got up to throughout the Summer and Winter Olympics but I guess Miis will do. Sonic and Sega's All-Star Racing is expected to be released in March this year.

That's nice I suppose, but knowing me I'll just stick with Sonic and Eggman anyway. Unless the Miis are really awesome. xD

Ahh the new Banjo still looks like rubbish anyway. Im not saying this because i dont own an xbox360 and the banjo game, it's just out of pure honesty, the original design of banjo has always been the better version.

| Mario would of made me buy the Wii Version. That and Online. But seems like they lost their chance. Seeing as the PS3 is my second console of choice. I hope they have Snake for an exclusive. I can't think of anyone else. Besides a Final Fantasy Character. Or wait what about Kingdom Hearts. Don't know much about the series but it be interesting to see Mickey Mouse and Sonic in the same game. Snake be cool anyway you could drop proximity mines and such on the tracks lol. |

Sounds interesting actually. Still sounds like nothing more than a rent though.

I know sometimes I just get confused with Racers, Olympics, Fighting games, and such they all have the same point though.
I like Brawl better.
