Serious business simulation game Sukeban Shachou Rena Wii explores the management skills of a cat. Essentially yet another mini-game collection for the Wii, it recently launched in Japan and was greeted by motionless tumbleweeds. The Wii is no stranger to horrible selling software, but publisher Jorudan should be proud in knowing they've had one of the least successful video game launches ever.
Sukeban Shachou Rena Wii sold just 100 copies in its first week, leaving retailers scrambling to chuck every last copy in the clearance bin. Jorudan even held an embarrassing launch event where staff (in pink) almost outnumbered those interested in the game. Please note the original image had a face cut out (or perhaps that's a rare Gumby style blockhead condition) so A-N's dear friend Russell Grant has agreed to step in.
The game itself looks completely absurd, you can check out some of the 'action' below. Orange Lounge Radio are currently on a quest to get the title localised, but that doesn't seem too likely after this.
