EuroGamer has managed to get a hold of the world first details on Disney's upcoming Wii-exclusive Epic Mickey.
The game explores the existence of a forgotten world, a place where lesser-known Disney characters are relegated to. A dark and depressing land filled with broken rides and set pieces, these unloved characters have become bitter and twisted. Lead by Oswald the Rabbit (Disney's first ever creation - long before Mickey Mouse), they now seek revenge for what they've become.
Oswald summons The Phantom Blot in an attempt to kill off Mickey Mouse and ruin the 'popular' Disney universe. Players take control of Mickey to try and save the day. Armed with a number of artist tools including paintbrushes, thinner, erasers and pencils, Mickey will have to fix the damage done and use these tools to solve puzzles throughout the adventure.
Broken bridge? Repair it by drawing in the missing parts. Need to spy on someone in the next room? Apply thinner to the wall and look on through. Mickey can even erase parts of the environment to clear a path. EuroGamer's source also claims Mickey will be getting his first makeover in years. "That's why no one's seen his face yet," he explained. The Phantom Blot also appears to have received a bit of a makeover, as shown on GoNintendo...
