Nude Maker (Steel Battalion) and Platinum Games' (MadWorld) ambitious sci-fi adventure Infinite Space topped the charts upon its Japanese release, and now SEGA is set to bring it over here next year.

The game features an extremely in-depth ship customisation mode, and real-time battles against enemy fleets. Infinite Space's single-player campaign is massive, following the main character's lifetime from child to adult with over 70 hours of gameplay and anime cut scenes.

A series of short films by Gonzo and Production I.G were created to promote the game in Japan, SEGA has released the first dubbed episode, more will follow in the coming months.

Seems like a cool game. I especially like the part about going through all the stages of life, I've yet to play a game that utilizes this aspect and they sound pretty awesome. Next Autumn's a pretty long wait though, I'll have to see if I still want it by then. :/

It looks like an interesting game. The gameplay elements sound very promising as well. The only thing about that trailer that put me off slightly was the voice acting. It just wasn't up to scratch... hopefully the rest of the game will make up for it.

I find most dubbed animes suffer from bad voice acting so I prefer subbed overall.

Ooh, forgot about this game. Been wanting to hear more about it, but it kind of fell off the radar or something. Had no idea it had come out already (albeit just in Japan).

Anime thing is weird.
