World of Goo, developed by 2D Boy, has been rated G by the Australian Classification Board. The Independent Games Festival finalist is a unique, somewhat physics-based puzzler in which the aim is to string together a tether of goo, and reach a pipe at the end of the level. Think of it as Lemmings, but with a physics engine, and black gobules of Goo. Set to arrive on the Wii's Wiiware service, it will also be available on PC and Mac systems.

I've heard great things about World of Goo.
I assumed it was already out on Wiiware, but that was probably just in NTSC regions.
Mind you, I don't think I've opened up the Wii Shop Channel since a month or two before Wiiware got released...

World of Goo wasn't initially planned to have a PAL WiiWare release, instead it was being prepared to be released in retail stores with a bonus chapter and extra goodies - RTL Games heading the European distribution.
Ron and Kyle from 2D Boy have since persuaded RTL games to reconsider, now going ahead with a WiiWare release for PAL regions as well - it seems the sheer number of WiiWare and PC sales from the U.S release have helped change their minds.

Awesome! They convinced them to release it on WiiWare.
It would probably sell better anyway, seeing as lots of people can't afford $60-$80 for it.
But there's still piratefags, so.

I own the PC version.
It is so much fun.
I could imagine this being the best Wiiware game made.

According to an interview on WiiWare World, the bonus chapter won't be available.
